1Starr Enterprises was founded in the most difficult of ways. Our founder JW Curtis is unlike most CEOs. No matter how much success he has achieved, Mr. Curtis has never forgotten where it all started. He has literally earned everything the hard way, Mr. Curtis was never afforded the privilege of inheriting wealth, having investors, and .never even having the luxury of obtaining any type of business loan all the while fighting against racism and discrimination on all levels.

Mr. Curtis wanted to leverage his resources to help other struggling entrepreneurs like himself access the services and solutions they needed to make their small businesses succeed. That’s why in 2003, he founded KWorks International which we know today as 1Starr Enterprises.
1Starr Enterprises prides itself on providing real expansive solutions for all types of people, demographics and business entities. In other words.   WE DO IT ALL!  

Here at 1Starr Enterprises, we are not afraid to think outside of the proverbial "box", taking true chances and risks, and forcing the issue while exemplifying true class and community service. 1Starr, its employees, clients, and partners exemplify true class at all times while making this world a better place.

2003

KWorks International (KWorks) is founded. KWorks is a faith-based multimedia and management consultant corporation, and a family-owned business whose mission is to educate, empower, and entertain people and business entities while making a positive impact all throughout the world.  KWorks is actually named after the daughter of our founder, CEO and President, JW Curtis.  

2007

KWorks International and all of its  subsidiaries, The Katia Curtis Foundation and KWorks Unlimited are merged and rebranded into DeyStarr Unlimited.  Deystarr Unlimited is actually named after the wife of JW Curtis, Mrs. Dey Curtis as an ultimate show of love, appreciation and respect. The "Dey" stands for Dey Escamilla Curtis, who is the most wonderful, beautiful, and Godly person in Mr. Curtis' life and the  "Starr" for the brightest star in the heavens, with unlimited possibilities.   

2010

Deystarr Unlimited expands its portfolio with the creation of Deystarr Business Solutions, DeyJay Plus size and Big & Tall, IndyGirl, IndyKlub, and Untouchable Media.

2016

Deystarr Unlimited is officially rebranded into 1Starr Enterprises.  

2021

Deystarr Business Solutions, DeyJay Plus size and Big & Tall, IndyGirl, IndyKlub, and Untouchable Media are all merged into 1Starr Official Brands.
