1Starr Enterprises was founded in the most difficult of ways. Our founder JW Curtis is unlike most CEOs. No matter how much success he has achieved, Mr. Curtis has never forgotten where it all started. He has literally earned everything the hard way, Mr. Curtis was never afforded the privilege of inheriting wealth, having investors, and .never even having the luxury of obtaining any type of business loan all the while fighting against racism and discrimination on all levels.   
Passionate for leadership through service, 

Mr. Curtis wanted to leverage his resources to help other struggling entrepreneurs like himself access the services and solutions they needed to make their small businesses succeed. That’s why in 2003, he founded KWorks International which we know today as 1Starr Enterprises.
